Best foundation ever
I recently ordered a sample of this foundation and wasn’t expecting high results with it as foundations normally don’t work for me however when I tried this foundation it blended in so well with my skin and matched perfectly! I also have acne prone skin with visible pores and scars and this foundation sat perfectly on top of my skin which is very rare for the foundations I have used. Overall I really recommend this foundation and am planning on purchasing it soon.

Couldn’t find a match
I purchased several sample shades in hope that I would find at least one match but I didn’t. They were either too orangy or too pale. Very disappointed as I absolutely love the hydraveil. Need to re-evaluate the shades available I think. They don’t seem to match the icon colours either, quite misleading.

Beautiful Coverage
I have just purchased several samples of the Skin Base Foundation to find my correct shade. Providing samples is a wonderful service that Illamasqua offers. As for the foundation itself, it gives skin a flawless look that is neither too matte or too dewy. It is versatile and can be applied lightly or built up for fuller coverage. It’s the best foundation I have ever used and I can understand why it has won an award!

I wanted to love this foundation.
I ordered two samples and was so disappointed that they were nowhere near suitable for my skin shade. The lightest one was a strange vanilla colour and the next one up was pink. I was glad that they did samples which both went in the bin, much cheaper than buying the foundation. The texture was lovely and having brought some makeup from this range and loving the quality I was surprised at the strange shade these foundations were.

Skin Base Foundation
I really love the texture and coverage of this foundation. It gives my skin a soft, velvety appearance and it hides my pores and fine lines. What’s more, it stays on all day without any fading, colour change, or absorption by the skin. It is a truly remarkable product. The sample colour I chose was a little too light for me but as soon as I find my correct shade, I am going to purchase a bottle. I am glad that I have finally found a foundation that I love.

honestly I can't recommend this make up brand enough first tried it a few years back and seriously I wouldn't use any other the only make up brand that hasn't ruined my skin I ordered online for the first time and and the next morning it was at my door step I'm well chuffed at how quickly it came and how beautifully it was packed honestly as a mum of 3 and not always getting to treat myself when you see something as beautiful as I did when I opened my box you really feel on top

Foundation
Love the foundation , found 6 and 6.5 too light for my skin tone but 8.5 was perfect ! Great coverage and a lovely natural finish. Will definitely purchase when my current foundation is finished
