Perfect Primer
5This primer is perfect! I used to have combination/oily skin but I’ve noticed that it’s more on the normal/dry side as I’m well into my 30s now. This primer feels fresh and calming like a moisturizer/skincare product. It reminds me of aloe vera because of the consistency and the way it feels on my skin. It leaves a nice healthy glow on my skin and has a slight gripping “sticky” feeling which helps my makeup stay in place. I also love the packaging, it’s very luxurious and I feel pampered.

5I received this Hydra Veil Primer complimentary from Illamasqua! The foundation applies so smoothly after I use this primer as a base. My pores are less visible and my skin feels more hydrated throughout the day.

Really great for 30 something skin
5I have always had a hard time finding a primer that works well on my mid 30’s skin. This was recommended to me by my best friend and I’m so glad! It feels amazing on. You do need to apply and wait around 10 mins before applying foundation to get the best results. This is a really great primer and definitely helps it keep my makeup from separating and keeps it looking awesome! Gifted by Illamasqua

Moisturizing and seamless!
5I was gifted by Illamasqua the hydra veil primer and it is so moisturizing for my dry skin! I use this as a base before I put on my foundation and it just makes the process so much smoother and seamless!

Great primer!
5I am obsessed with this primer, and this is my second tube, veil is the ultimate lightweight gel primer, that will not only give my skin a hydration boost but thanks to algae extracts will help calm and soothe any redness or sensitivity. Underneath foundation, it will smooth away any unwanted texture, such as fine lines and open pores, and will give my makeup increased long wear.

Lightweight Primer
5I just received this product (received as a gift as part of a promotion and the opinions are my own) and was very excited to try it! The container contains a cute little spoon to scoop the primer. It has a subtle floral fragrance which i like. The primer is gel like but turns pretty watery as it is applied, it gets absorbed quick and leaves a refreshing feeling on the skin. I noticed that my foundation set quiet nicely on top of it. I really liked the primer and will recommend it to my friends.

5This was gifted by Illamasqua I’ve heard so much hype about this product The texture is like a jelly which is unlike anything I’ve ever tried before , but oh my god is this my new holy grail , creates such a nice glow while smoothing out any imperfections, It gave my skin much needed boost without greasy feeling, I have a combo skin for me is super difficult find a primer that work well with my skin type , I would recommend this if your skin usually has this kind of issues .

Not what I was hoping for
2This primer felt sticky to me. I like primers with a velvety feel. Maybe the stickiness makes your foundation stay longer? I’ll keep trying it since I already used it once and see if it grows on me. I used it with their foundation. Maybe a different moisturizer underneath might help.

Fantastic product
5I really like this primer, along with the Beyond Veil. I have been using it for some time & I`ve noticed its great qualities - hydrating, smoothing, fast drying, not causing any skin problems. Simply great!

5This primer feels so nice on the skin, it's really hydrating but also dries fast so perfect when I'm doing my makeup in a hurry. Will definitely be buying again!
